Privacy Policy

LeaseDeck ("we", "us", "our") is a rental shortlisting tool. This policy explains what information we collect when you use leasedeck.app and how we use it. We'll keep it plain.

What we collect

• Google account info — your name, email address, and profile picture, received when you sign in with Google. We use this to identify your account.
• Rental listings you save — URLs, extracted listing details (price, address, beds, baths, etc.), notes, and contact info you add manually.
• Usage data — basic server logs (IP address, request timestamps) for security and debugging. We don't use third-party analytics trackers.

What we don't collect

• We never ask for payment information.
• We don't track you across other websites.
• We don't sell your data to anyone, ever.

How we use your information

• To authenticate you via Google Sign-In and keep your session active.
• To store and display the rental listings you've saved.
• To generate a shareable link when you choose to share your list.
• To run AI-assisted parsing of listing details (processed via OpenAI's API — your listing content is sent to OpenAI for extraction, subject to their privacy policy).

Data storage

Your data is stored in a MongoDB database hosted on MongoDB Atlas (cloud, US region). Your session token is stored in your browser's localStorage. We don't use tracking cookies.

Sharing your list

If you enable the share feature, anyone with your unique share link can view your rental list and add to it. You can disable sharing at any time, which immediately invalidates the link. We don't share your data with anyone else.

Deleting your data

To delete your account and all associated data, email us at hello@leasedeck.app. We'll remove everything within 30 days.

• Google Identity Services — for sign-in (Google Privacy Policy).
• OpenAI — for AI-assisted listing parsing (OpenAI Privacy Policy).
• MongoDB Atlas — for database hosting.
• Render — for backend hosting.
• Netlify — for frontend hosting.

Changes to this policy

If we make material changes, we'll update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of LeaseDeck after changes means you accept the updated policy.
